Welcome to Regal Red Dachshunds, where our idea of canine beauty is about half a foot tall and wears a silky red coat. Smooth and long red coats are what we specialize in here on our nine-acre farm. Located in beautiful Northeast Georgia, we are just 65 miles east of the Atlanta airport. My love for dachshunds began in the 1970s, when I was a little girl in Maryville, TN. The ride to and from my grandparents led us past a house behind Buddy’s Supermarket, where Dachshund puppies were occasionally out in their pen. Dad would pull over for a few minutes so I could soak up the sweetness. After 45 years of owning Dachshunds and nurturing my nine-year-old puppy love, my dream of breeding Dachshunds has come to fruition in Regal Red Dachshunds. Our goal is to bring you top-quality canines that embody excellent conformation, exceptional temperament, and exuberant health wrapped in an elegant red package.
